1) Bianca
War, in the form of a mutilated young man merged with weapons of mass destruction and spewing toxic waste as it passes, justifies itself as the protector of Peace giving flower to this little girl (symbol of pureness and kindness), but in actuality wherever he steps, Peace is inevitably destroyed.
There is a picture that shows seven skeletons, captioned with the following descriptions: black, white, gay, straight, religious, atheist and you. The point of the picture is that, underneath it all, we’re really the same, and so no one has a right to pass judgement on another. We have the same blood, we are brothers. We need to help each other and only then we will live in peace.

THE ITALIAN EMIGRATION: In this photos is represented Italian emigration to Belgium. I chose this photo because it represents the Italian emigrants who took the train to go to Belgium.

3) Filippo
In this photo there are hundreds of migrants on a big boat, they try to arrived in Italy to escape from hunger and war which is their countries. In this image people are all watching the sky and it seems they are praying god to arrived safe and sound. I think these people are very desperate, because they do a very dangerous travel on the sea and they risk their lives.
In this photo you can see a survivor man affter the explosion of the atomic bomb thrown by the American army at the end of the second word war. It seems that the man is looking for something or someone that there isn’t any more. He is desperate but it is happy too, because he is still alive.
4) Morabito
Guerra di tre anni in Yemen.
This photo was taken in Yemen during a war started in March 2015 and which caused the death of 5974 person.
The photo portrays a child che guarda la città distrutta, vive all’interno di un edificio rovinato con solo qualche coperta. Ho scelto questa foto perché fa capire come vivono le persone, soprattutto i bambini, nei periodi di guerra, senza un posto dove vivere, senza più un paese perché viene distrutto, con poco cibo e vestiti, con solo qualche coperta per proteggersi dal freddo. Sono in attesa di emigrare in un altro paese e trovare un lavoro.
Emigrazione italiana in Romania.
In questa foto sono rappresentati degli italiani che salutano le loro fidanzate e che aspettano di partire per andare in Romania. L’ho scelta perché fa capire quanto è difficile emigrare in un altro paese per cercare un lavoro e lasciare la propria famiglia e i propri amici per avere una vita migliore.
5) Beatrice
Ho scelto questa immagine perché l’attacco a Pearl Harbor fu attuato in assenza della dichiarazione di guerra da parte giapponese, che fu formalizzata soltanto ad attacco iniziato, e provocò l'ingresso nella seconda guerra mondiale degli Stati Uniti dove si sviluppò nell'opinione pubblica un forte sentimento di riprovazione e di odio verso il Giappone.

Questa immagine è ambientata negli Stati Uniti, di preciso a Ellis Island all’arrivo degli immigrati nel 1902.
Ellis Island è un isolotto artificiale, costruito coi detriti rimanenti dagli scavi della metropolitana di New York, alla foce del fiume Hudson nella baia di New York. Antico arsenale militare, dal 1892 al 1954, anno della sua chiusura, è stato il principale punto d'ingresso per gli immigranti che sbarcavano negli Stati Uniti.
Ho scelto questa immagine degli immigrati negli Stati Uniti perché anche noi italiani siamo immigrati li.
Non ci dobbiamo lamentare dei siriani che migrano in Italia perché anche noi lo siamo stati.
